ChemoCars provides rides to and from cancer treatment that are 100% funded through donations and grants. To date, we’ve been able to provided over 25,000 rides.
GivingTuesday
It’s a “Global Day of Giving” that takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (11/29). Thousands of people come together to support the causes close to their hearts - it’s like the nonprofit version of Black Friday.
Our Challenge
Funding ~1,000 rides for GivingTuesday is audacious - but at ~$17 per Uber/Lyft it’s completely achievable.
Why Giving Tuesday Is So Important
100% of our ride costs are funded through charitable donations. We literally couldn’t do this without you. Looking forward, we want to help even more cancer patients - we hope to restart rides in Charlotte (paused during covid) & expand to new cities (LA). GivingTuesday is critical funding source needed to help achieve these goals.
